Which air-taxi companies have aircraft orders?
Most air-taxi makers don’t sell to the public yet. Their buyers are airlines, operators, and leasing companies, and many deals are letters of intent, not firm orders. This guide sorts the 26 companies in the Air Taxi Spot directory by what their own releases and SEC filings say.
Of those, 18 report sales, orders, deposits, or letters of intent. None take a public deposit or reservation online. We checked every source on October 8, 2026.

Can I buy or preorder one?
Not online today. On October 8, 2026, no company in this directory took a public deposit or reservation on its official site. AutoFlight and EHang sell to operators, not to individuals. PAL-V publishes expected prices for its Liberty flying car, but it asks buyers to contact its sales team, and there’s no online deposit.
How to read these deals
- Firm order: a signed purchase agreement. It can still depend on certification and delivery dates.
- Deposit or pre-delivery payment: money paid toward future aircraft.
- Letter of intent or preorder: a stated plan to buy. For example, Vertical’s SEC filing says its preorders aren’t legally binding and can be cancelled without penalty.
- Numbers come from each company. This directory doesn’t check them against delivery records.
